Silver Lake Love will team up with Haircuts, Hugs, and Hope to provide haircuts for homeless veterans of the United States Armed Forces in Los Angeles.

For Veterans Day, 2016, Silver Lake Love teamed up with United States Army Veteran, Joshua Eudy of North Carolina to provide over 40 haircuts to Veterans of the US Armed Forces. It was such a resounding success that we have planned a second event in February.

One of the main questions we pose to the veteran community is “What does this haircut DO for you?”

The answers we received in November were astounding. They were: self esteem, confidence, a feeling of rebirth, gratitude, courage, strength… HOPE.

We intend to continue this path to positivity with another outing of haircuts to veterans in February. Our hope is to simply give our veterans a shining light into helping them achieve their dreams post-service.

Please join us this February as we honor the veterans that are down on their luck. We remember their service to freedom and our country this February.
