Happiness

Sometimes it’s the little things that give us the most happiness. For myself one of those things could be just putting moisturizing lotion on in the morning. For the homeless, these little things may be harder to come by. I’m so happy I was able to provide a little happiness at least for the day by offering these guys something nice and made with love. The guy on the ground was so tired that he could not stand so I just put it aside him. As I walked away I could see he was very very delighted by the cool design of the shirt and sat up immediately to check it out <3 <3.

I was so excited by another couple who graciously let me into their home as they were cleaning up and sweeping just as we all do in our homes. Only their home was downtown Los Angeles’ 6th street in Skid Row. The husband did not speak english  but the wife did, and she explained that I come in peace and with offerings of love. He held up the polo with such curiosity! It was truly heart warming.

The third guy in this photo gallery did to speak any english at all, but was oh so happy to get a cool clean shirt to wear. What was his story? Where did he come from? What were his hopes? Aspirations? I don’t know, but I do know that we all have them, and we all just need a little love to help us achieve them and do good for the world!

When we are down we need to lift each other up, we need to be the ones that are sure of where we are with all the things that we need to know to be true. When we are tired and when the moon doesn’t shine, we need to be there to show each other the light.
